A skull viewed from the side always has the look of someone in a fine mood. A grin full of teeth.

A skull viewed from the front is a skull with a human gaze. Heavy, encroaching, judgmental. The shape and the whiteness of the bone wrap it in a neat whole. Somewhat demonic. Draconic. That saves the situation. However, I don’t like it when the skull looks at me head-on.

That is why I command them to turn toward me in profile. Then we are all in a good mood.
