Day 237 of Current Days: How I become The Creator of Pink Universes

“Mom, can I come in?” a question echoes from the foot of the stairs.
“Come in,” I answer, my tone slightly resigned. I’ve only just started working on a watercolor universe. I hear quiet panting and the inevitable thud of small feet approaching.
“What are you doing?” a voice asks as a head finally emerges at the top of the stairs.
“I’m creating a universe. Want to see?”
She comes closer. With her mouth agape, she watches the paint spread across the paper. Her eyes look as if they’re about to pop out.
“I want one too.”
“Alright. What color?”
“Pink. And purple,” she adds after a moment.

And so, I created a collection of six brand new parallel universes. Not just pink and purple ones. I hope all the beings living within them are happy, and that their lives are a bed of roses.

That is probably how our reality came to be. Some brat asked a parent for a toy.

Collection of Parallel Universes in almost every color of the rainbow, 15×15 cm, watercolor on paper, 2026.
